Rocky Raccoon 100 Mile Trail Race, Nature Center Aid Station

The Rocky Raccoon 100 Mile Trail Race takes place every year at Huntsville State Park.

This year is the 25th year for the race, so there will be a very big entry field!

February 4-5, 2017

30 Hour Time Limit

Start Time 6am Saturday

Finish 12noon Sunday

Footsteps For The Fallen staffs the Nature Center Aid Station for this World Class Ultra Running Event! We are looking for volunteers to help staff this fun loving aid station. No need to worry if you have no running or aid station experience, the only experience required is to know how to have fun!

General Volunteer Responsibilities

  1. Hand out food & drinks
  2. Keep the table stocked
  3. Cook hot foods/drinks
  4. Make sandwiches
  5. Cut oranges, melons, bananas
  6. Crowd control
  7. And whatever you can to take care of the runners

We are not asking anyone to be there all 30 hours, but you are welcome if you would like to. What we are asking is, 4-5 hour of your time in shifts. The only thing hard about working an aid station is, keeping it fun, and really how hard is having fun.

So come join the fun and cheer on some amazing athletes!
